David Cook: The New Idol
Although 17-year-old David Archuleta received most of the praises from the judges and fans, the other David won. It was shocking for me to find out that the 25-year-old musician and bartender won American Idol. I was expecting that Archuleta would win; I was rooting for him from the start. David Cook wins by shocking of roughly 12 million votes. There were a total of 97 million votes, the highest votes in the history of American Idol. It was the first ever that American Idol had 2 finalists that has never experienced to be in the "bottom three".DAVID COOK: "I actually walked into this with no expectations, and I'm walking out of it with no expectations,"
"This show is a springboard, but it's still a crapshoot."

Victor Aliwalas: A Newbie In Philippine Showbiz
BiographyHis parents are both Filipino. His mother from Pampanga and his father from Bicol.
In the late 70's Victor's parents migrated to America.
When Victor was three, they moved to upstate New York where he grew up and finished his studies in Le Moines College with a degree in finance.
Victor once worked in Armory Club, a bar in New York as a bouncer. He was then 200lbs.
He is now down at 160lbs in his 5'10' frame.
Showbiz Career
First noticed in Marimar (Filipino version), played the role of Marimar's attorney, Adrian.
Victor was discovered by a talent manager and introduces to GMA-7 upon visiting the Philippines for a vacation. GMA-7 gave him a three-year contract with GMA Artist Center. He also did some commercials and hosting jobs for AVP.
